Since everything is current now, and happy as I am, it jumped quicker on me than i anticipated. I am in precarious position to apply I-485 right away or see it get retrogressed again.
My dilemma is that I am unmarried and want to get married to someone in India, but also take my time selecting my mate.
My question is if I apply for I-485 in july or august, how much time do I have to get married in India and still make my spouse eligible for green card with me.

My LD 01/31/2003 I485 date 10/20/03 extending my EAD 4th time. Stuck in backlog center TX. Any one recently got from TX backlog?
You are extending your 4 th EAD and here we are fighting for the first EADeven our days are current ( of course changed them back) ....Be happy with where you are and contribute ..please dont start a new thread unless its a uniique issue

if you are out of country then why don't open account in ICICI or reliance to do trading .
you can do US stock trading using them ... Confirm with them also.

1) Do my spouse need to take Affidavit of Support docs(form I 864), my 485 is employment based and not family based(I am the primary applicant).

485 Filed -- Aug 2007

Hi All,
Please help me with this. i came to USA on L1B visa in 2005 with 1 year petition and got extension for 2 more years i.e till feb 2008 but went to india for good in June 2007.
Again we came back with new L1B petition in Oct 2007 and got 3 years visa i.e, till Oct 2010.
1) Now if company apply for extension on L1B how many years ext i'll get?
2) Now if Company B wants to file new H1B for me, how many years of visa i'll get.
i was never on H1 before this is my first time H1B.
Please help me with this as soon as possible.

I have applied for my I-485 ( PD: jan 2007- EB2, India).
I want to leave MS and join a different company now ...Question is do you know if MS withdraws I-140 ????

Lots of activity to report. Congressional Hispanic Caucus leaders met this week with President Obama who said he wants a vote during the Lame Duck and would work the phones to round up votes. Harry Reid tweeted today that he'll offer the DREAM Act as a standalone bill which will hopefully help bring along a few of the "procedural" no voters from last September who indicated they like the DREAM Act but didn't believe in tacking it on to a budget bill. My wife is right now on H4 and having her EAD which will be expiring in another 2 months. She is not planning to work. Currently I am woking on H1B, soon I will be joing another employer on EAD. My question is it necessry for my wife to renew EAD even if she is not planning to use it. Once I swith on EAD what need to be done for my wife.
