Illegal immigration (of course) is really hot in the VA area. They have had rally's and other events that were reported on front page of Washington Post.
I am locating those reporters. It would help if we read those articles and write something based on the content. Something like: since you reported their rally, please report ours.

Schorr & Yale-Loehr, supra note 2, at 499. It should also be noted that the Memos view the possibility of an adjustment applicant becoming a public charge (and thus being inadmissible under INA �212(a)(4)) as being �a relevant inquiry� and that an RFE requesting information about a self-employment arrangement is likely to probe whether or not the applicant has sufficient financial resources to avoid becoming such a public charge."

If I stay employed for 2-3 yrs on my spouse's LLC and bring 200K each year, is that established?

The report shows 144,000 PERMs between March 28, 2005 - June 1, 2007 (NOT between oct 2006- march 2007). That i sover a period of 2years and 4 months. This is not bad as we all are thinking

PERM is only for the Primary applicant. For I-485 every dependent of Primary applicant needs one separate application
Considering all these 750,000 I-485 filings in next 1 month sounds a reasonable estimate.

s not a policy bill, it's a bill about tweaking the existing policy. Giving everyone a priority date based on his/her date of the arrival to the states is to admit that H1b visa is an immigrant visa, which is not. Don't push an envelope too hard, it might backfire in the most unusual way.

One thing for sure USCIS do likes April fools day a lot as this the date they usually pick when the retrogress. This proves that a fool named DOS in love with April fools day.:)
I don't know if anybody has noticed it but the dates for EB-2 for VB October 2007 was April 1, 2004 and for VB October 2008 is April 1, 2003. That is a retrogression of 1 year - not good. :mad:

I have been on a monthly contributions program that contributes every month to IV since JAN 2007. If this effort requires the money now, is there a way I can divert the monthly to this effort for the next 3 months. Or should I cancel my monthly contribution and just donate a lump sum for this effort?

I am an H1B holder.... my wife holds an H4. Her DL expired and it has been impossible to get her a renewal. On our last discussion it was brought to our attention that their could be a discrepancy between DHS data (my wife's birthday) even it shows correct in all documents printed by them and the Indiana's BMV database. Meanwhile she is holding 'Temporarily Driving Permits' (piece of paper) that expires every 30 days....

Considering 7% country quota and 26.7% EB2 quota of 140k, we get 2800 visa for EB2 annually. For first month this number comes out to be 234. Considering 1.2 dependents this means 106 families get GC under EB2.
I am sure they have more than 106 cases before the cutoff of 1 April 2003. This may also include people delayed by background checks.
But at the same time EB2 will get spillover from EB1 and EB2 ROW, so its expected that EB2 I will move forward. But how much that spillover is gonna be? Any data?
