It has to be 693 as per my understanding. The doctors usually have their versions of 693, in multipart (3-4). I think the 4th part is green and is intended to be your copy. Along with 693 there is a supplement page for vaccinations etc.

Two friends of mine were in the same situation.
In both cases dependent children were approved first, then primary applicant
(in one case in a 6 month after his dependent)

If you have a valid I-94 i.e. not expired, you can apply for another I-539 to F1 - make sure to make the application stronger than last time.
If your I-94 is applied, you have no choice but to leave the country and get F1 visa in your home country and come back.

Hi My wife's H4b status is valid till 6th sept. Now she has her h1b approved on 3rd july. Her employer states that the approved petition has some clause that she has to leave the country and come back with h1 on nov 1st. Both the employer and myself are not comfortable doing that.
Her employer suggesting for h1b renewal under premium process so that i might get receipt in few weeks and also says that he would reapply for H1 wiht the receipt for the approval.
Please suggest me the best possible way ...

According to the mathew ohio website. there is apparently a very hot legal battle going on between the DHS and a happless immigrant who had been arested for out of status presence. The immigrant was on an H1b and had filed an application in a timely manner and was awaiting decision on his application when the DHS official arrested him and tried to deport him. Please post more information on this issue if anybody is aware of it. His I-94 expired, however, his petition for H1b extension was pending!!!!:o:o:o

I also received RFE. It was related to TB chest X-ray. In '07 doctor said, it is not requited but USCIS feels other way.

If H4 uses EAD for work with 485 pending, and if the underlying I-140 gets rejected, will this make H4 holder be out of status? what are the options for H4 holder.

just got my GC. Now if I contract for a security clearance job, like Armed forces, or Defense related one through the same employer that sponsored by GC, CAN I BE ELIGIBLE for a waiver of the 5 years waiting period -to what extent is is waived ....100% or only part of the 5 years wait, if at all .
My Company is a US Defense Vendor .
Can someone pt me to the right place where all this is clarified.
Also would the same kind of waiver apply if you work for a Govt agency or it is strictly defense...
are there some other ways where GC-> Citz can be expedited

My recent EAD renewal had issues with the validity dates so I sent both the EAD (mine and my spouse) for correction. I received my EAD back with dates corrected but not for my wife. I called USCIS and one nice rep sent an email to the EAD supervisor requesting action but this was only a week ago. My wife now has a job offer but she is unsure if she could proceed due to lack of a EAD. This is obviously very frustrating for her since it was so hard to find a entry level job in this economy
I got a infopass but only for next week and it will be a little too late for the new job. She has to report to work next week. Any suggestions/thoughts for a way out will be helpful. FYI 90 days have passed since my initial EAD renewal application. I am considering opening a SR but that has a time line of 60-90 days

I am EB3 - Dec 2004 filer and there is no hope for few years that my date get current. i have filed another GC through my sister in May 2006 and that F4 category is moving quicker and expecting my priority date will be current in 5 years through my sister.
i have bought 2 Family house in Jersey City. now for my kids education we thought to move to India for 4 to 5 years until we get call for GC though my sister.
we are going to rent house - it's multi family near NYC. my landloard is willing to take care of it in our absence.
my Q is can i get B1 (Visitor visa) for 10 years , if we show that we have property in US and we may need to visit just to take check it ??
should we inform immigration officer about GC filed though my sister to assure that we will not stay in US longer, to get B1 visa?
can we get visitor visa before leaving USA? i mean convert from H1 to B1 for multi year?

Yesturday night, I saw Charlie Rose Show, in which he first interviewed Andi Carr and then RAHM EMANUEL Representative (D-IL)....
In the middle of conversation, Charlie asked Rahm about what Dems agree and disagree and how they will work with President. He replied that there is no all disagreement. He said Dems agree on Tax reform as well as Immigration. Then he went on to talk about favoritism to CIR.
It seems like winning the election even while being on Immigration side as well defeat of Representatives J.D. Hayworth and Randy Graf (Hardcore Immigrant Haters) have embolden Dems that Immigration is not as taboo as it was once thought. I have a feeling that they will get this done sooner than later. :)

Hi,
My friend had done 7th Yr Extension last month. By Mistake she gave dates such that it showed that she was out of USA for 1 year. So the lawyer filed for 3 yr extension and USCIS permitted. Is this rectifiable?

Has anyone that sent his/her July I485 application to NSC and expect this application to have been transfered to TSC, received a receipt?
