If you have successfully transfered your PD after your I-140 approval. Please post your experience.
I have seen I-140 threads for a while ..everyone have a opinion ..but none of you have gone through it....its misleading we can quote different websites and USICS documents ..only people who actually transfered PD can share. How they did it. Whats the process. Please respond to this thread only if you have successfully transfered PD after I-140 approval.

Some decisions and cases support that a corporation even if it is owned and operated by a single person may hire that same individual in an H-1B capacity. This is based on the concept that the corporation is a separate legal entity fron its owner. However, self-sponsored H-1Bs are subject to careful review. I have a offer from an employer and they say that they will be able to provide documentation for GC processing but will not be able to sponsor. What does that mean? Can i hire attorney for my GC processing(EB2) and pay the expenses by myself? What else would be required from the employer?

On Nov 8th, Senator Lieberman and 18 of his Senate colleagues, wrote to Michael Chertoff (Homeland Security Secretary) to extend 12 months opt to 29 months exercising his authority.
On Nov 11th, NAFSA President Johnson also wrote to Secretary Chertoff to make this change, endorsing above request.

Hi,
Ist case:
I applied GC for me and my spouse thro' EB3, AOS in July 2007, with Priority date 2005.
Currently I am in H1B and my spouse uses EAD to work.
2nd case:
My spouse applied the labor process and planning to apply I-140 in EB2 and choose CP process , once Labor approved.
Question:
For Spouse:
Is it possible to use EAD (1st case, as benificiary) to work and go for CP in 2nd case (Primary)?.
For me:
Can I add my name in CP (as Benificiary), with out effecting the my process AOS/H1B (1st case)

My 140 approved in May 07 and I had an LUD on 8-12-07.
AP approved a week ago and I had another LUD on 8-12-07.
I know a bunch of people had similar LUD on their 140s. I am thinking it could be a database issue. No impact..

Some of my friends who are in their final year of a residency program on a H1b (non profit) have got job offers from profit organizations and their H1b transfer is subject to cap. Their transfer will be done only in May/June 2007 and now they are stuck because of the cap limit.
A lot of people in same situation are IV members. SOme organized effort is required to this cause.
These maybe people who could not file for their "real" jobs when cap was reached.
Must we not start an organized effort and let our law makers know about this situation.

I received a FP notice to attend on 11/23/07 (the friday after thanksgiving). The lawyer feels that they may be closed on that day and would like me to reconfirm the appointment.

I just received EAD card from employer office and noticed spelling mistake on my Firstname. It is USCIS mistake.
I could not find thread with answer.
Office paralegal called USCIS, look like asked us file again.
do we need to send back the original card recd from UCCIS ?.
Anybody has experience on this one?

Risk Assessment Program Fraud Study: program is part of a study to help design profiles of potential fraud. Family-based petitions or employment-based petitions once approved are randomly selected.
Targeted Site Visits: this visit is to ask questions when fraud is suspected. Advance notice of visit is given.
Administrative Site Visits: for religious worker and H-1B programs. Specific questions generally regarding the beneficiary’s job duties as stated in the petition and whether the beneficiary is receiving the wage as stated on the petition.
