All they had to do was to introduce another $2000 fee for every Green Card Re-Captured. Most of us would have been out of this mess and they would have got the money they needed. This Grand posturing is extremely disturbing and i hate the politics behind it.
I wish the Democrats lose big time and lose their hold from Senate and house.
we all seem to think that after our problem is fixed, all the problems in the world will be gone..... if there is hunger problem, our solution ought to be increase in eb quota..... if there is drinking water problem, our solution is recapture.....
my reading is that chinese & indians think too much of themselves.... as if the world would collapse without them..... very narrow thinking..... now u would see a few here blaming indian politicians, some saying outsourcing will increase, some saying US will lose more jobs, world will fall apart...... well that's just too much reality for one day
lets get back to the important subjects of eb3 & eb2, crapy data analysis, shitty predictions & lets find out who is better than everyone else, is eb2 better more deserving that eb3....... or will the world stop spinning if the dates do not progress in the next month visa bulletin....... & those self-importance professing indian press articles..... these r the discussions we should be having.... can we please get back to those more important topics.....

If somebody is sending this letter, please do not send it without taking care of word-suggested corrections. There are too many green lines, most of the times because of spacing between two words.

Don't worry! EB-3 is supposed to be low-skilled so nobody is going to frown at grammatical or typographical errors. :)

During previous phone call campaigns, our members came out w/huge numbers and were instrumental in getting the support. This I know because the Senators office phones were just constantly busy and once you started mentioning high skilled, they would know and finish your statements for you. This time though, that does not seem to be the case. Please, please step up. I just called 4 out of TIER 1 again.

Hi,
We filed for our I131 on 7th Oct, 2007. Yet to receive anything on them. My wife needs to travel to India end of this month. She needs her AP since she is on adjustment of status right now. We had filed for a service request on 7th Jan at Nebraska Service Center. Got an email from them on 8th asking for supporting documentation. We faxed the medical certificate for my wife's mother on 8th Jan.
Now NSC customer service is saying that we need to wait for further decision. Spoke with our local Infopass office today and as per them we should get something in 3-4 weeks. They gave us an option of getting new AP at local infopass office by filing new fees all over again.
Has anyone on this group faced similar issues? How do we go about getting approval once we file for expedited request? I though once we open a new SR, we should get something back within 5 business days? Any help would be appreciated.

Man, in frustration people do not even know what to say and what not! Be very careful of what you spin and what you say. Instead we have people questioning the validity of those newly approved GCs.My dear friends, god willing, we will all have GCs one day and tell me, how would you feel if someone else comes screaming at you just because he did not get one too.
Putting a "security lapse" spin on this could be very dangerous and should be avoided at any cost. I hope one of those anti-immigrant lobbies do not pick it up and start running with that. I prey that they do not revoke those already approved GCs, because if they do, then those poor 25000 souls will go through much more agony than what we are going through now.
It's very tough to get the genie back in the bottle once it is out, so think before you start popping that cork.

If you are beyond 6 years and I-485 denied then applicant is doomed weather you are in H1 or EAD. Only route is MTR. My attorney confirmed it.
She suggest unless MTR get open. You should not even work to avoid the issues.

I understand that the Senator is a champion for creating more jobs in America. Employment based green cards will create jobs in America. I want to start my own company and hire people in America. But I cannot do that if I don't have a green card.
I would sincerely request you to please convey to the Senator if he would consider supporting some version of the immigration bill
giving more weight to green cards and creating jobs in America, or maybe the Senator could lead the effort for improving the proposal"
