On February 18 and 19, the University of California (Irvine) hosted a symposium where many of U.S. immigration's Rock-Star professors came together to try and solve "Persistent Puzzles in Immigration Law." my wife and i went to renew our DLs.
i am on EAD and my wife is on AOS(pending 485) and we both have AP valid till feb 2010.
i got a temporary DL and will get 1 year DL in the mail.
my wife got temp DL but will get DL till feb 2010 only (expiration of AP-I94). they wanted to see I-140 or I-130 alongwith I-485.
i emailed flhsmv.gov and they also say that now you must show 140 and dependent names in 485 application which most of us dont have.

Hello im a senior in high school, i was wondering if anyone could guide me...what do i do? i want a carrer in web design but should i go to a Art Insititute and stud multimedia and web design or should i go to a regular college and study it there? i have no idea...i have done my research but could anyone help me on my way? thanks a lot... If i have labor and 140 approved with previous employer, can i go back to join them on H1B and continue GC process? Appreciate any advise. The new company is unable to start GC process due to economic conditions and capout date is Sept 2010.

Both cards should arrive to the address that CIS has on file for the couple. The wife's departure from the US should not affect this. However, she needs to have the card to return to the US, ideally. Hopefully husband can send her the card.

I am an American citizen. My Chinese wife of 3 years and I will move to St. Louis and buy a home there. She is a businesswoman and must return to China several times per year to take care of a business there. She will be applying for her immigrant visa very soon.
HOW MANY DAYS PER YEAR CAN SHE LEAVE THE US PER YEAR WITHOUT PUTTING HER IMMIGRANT VISA IN JEOPARDY?
Being a US resident is more important that the job, but we would like to do both, if possible.
I apprecite ANY advice formn knowledgeable people, including non-lawyers.

Hi All,
I went for visa interview in December, but my case was stuck because of administrative processing. I came back on Advance parole. I have the following questions.
1. Can I sponsor my parents visitor visa without any issue? Will the consulate quiz them/stop them because of my H-1 admin processing
2. Also is my admin processing still going on? and can I stamp my H-1 visa in the future after my case is cleared from admin processing.

I read an article on Automatic Revalidation.
It says if you have an expired visa, and a valid 797 you can still enter US.
Is it true for H1 extensions?
